At present, the landscape of international trade frictions is complex and severe, with various forms of conflicts emerging continuously. To enhance the response capabilities of enterprises in Hebei Province, the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce invited renowned lawyers from domestic and foreign-related law firms to establish a foreign-related legal expert team dedicated to addressing international trade frictions. A work symposium was held on November 20, marking the official establishment and launch of the expert team. During the symposium, the Foreign Trade Management Office introduced the background and division of responsibilities for the team’s formation, and representatives from various law firms exchanged views on legal public services related to trade frictions. Recently, the 2025 Summer Workshop for Young International Law Faculty, hosted by the Chinese Society of International Law and organized by institutions including the China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies at Wuhan University, was successfully held in Wuhan from July 15 to 20.
