Recently, the 2025 Summer Workshop for Young International Law Teachers, organized by the Chinese Society of International Law and co-organized by institutions including the China Institute of Boundary and Ocean Studies at Wuhan University, was successfully held in Wuhan from July 15 to 20. Beijing Grandwin Law Firm, as one of the core co-organizers of this workshop, had its managing partner, Partner Jian GUAN, participate throughout the event, contributing professional expertise from practice to enhance the teaching and research capabilities of young international law teachers.
This workshop serves as a high-level professional platform focused on cultivating young teachers in the field of international law, aiming to bridge academic research and practical application, and providing young teachers with opportunities for exchange and learning in cutting-edge areas. Beijing Grandwin Law Firm's participation as a co-organizer not only represents the industry's resource support for legal education but also highlights the firm's professional influence in the field of foreign-related law. As a specialized institution deeply engaged in foreign-related practices such as WTO rules and cross-border legal dispute resolution, Grandwin Law Firm has long focused on the integrated development of "practice + academia."
During the event, Partner Jian GUAN, drawing on cases and experiences from Beijing Grandwin Law Firm's foreign-related legal practice, engaged in discussions with participating young teachers on topics such as "Expanding the Practical Dimension in International Law Teaching." He provided young teachers with concrete ideas for enriching teaching content from a practical perspective, further demonstrating the firm's professional expertise.
This co-organization marks another initiative by Beijing Grandwin Law Firm in participating in legal education and professional talent cultivation. Moving forward, the firm will continue to leverage its practical advantages in the foreign-related legal field, collaborate with academic resources, and contribute to the growth of talent and professional development in the field of international law.
