Personal Profile
Dr. Shenwen WU has long focused on WTO and international trade, export controls and economic sanctions, as well as China-U.S. trade compliance. He also continuously conducts research on cross-border data flows and digital trade rules, possessing solid academic training in international law and bilingual working capabilities. He has participated in the “Research on High-Standard International Trade Rules” project commissioned by the Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce, and has provided legal support in multiple trade remedy and cross-border subsidy investigations involving China, covering U.S. cross-border subsidy investigations into Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries with Chinese elements, as well as U.S. countervailing duty investigations on Chinese float glass and fiberglass door panels.
He has also participated in the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade’s efforts in responding to the U.S. “Special 301 Investigation” and supported enterprises in responding to EU anti-dumping investigations. Dr. Wu is able to combine regulatory interpretation, evidence organization, and compliance strategies to provide government and corporate clients with actionable investigation response and dispute resolution solutions, and has published multiple research papers on WTO and international trade in domestic and international journals.
