Guan Jian – Brand Star: Leading Lawyer


Dr. Guan Jian is the Managing Partner of Beijing Grandwin Law Firm and currently serves as a member of the Independent Advisory and Oversight Committee of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He has practiced in the field of international trade and investment law for 20 years, representing the Chinese government in handling and participating in multiple WTO dispute settlement cases, participating in bilateral and regional trade and investment agreement negotiations conducted by the Chinese government, and representing Chinese enterprises and industry associations in a series of international trade friction and trade compliance cases, including anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations, the U.S. Section 301 investigation against China, Special 301 investigation, WTO compliance reviews, and export control and sanctions compliance. Dr. Guan has published over 20 articles related to international trade and investment in core domestic and international journals.


Tong Jingjing – Brand Star: Rising Lawyer


Ms. Tong Jingjing holds an LL.B. from China University of Political Science and Law, and LL.M. degrees from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and the University of Texas at Austin. She focuses on international trade remedy legal practice and export supply chain compliance, with extensive practice experience, and is a member of the Foreign-related Lawyer Talent Pool of the Beijing Lawyers Association.


Over the past decade, Ms. Tong has led or deeply participated in over a hundred anti-dumping, countervailing, and safeguard investigation cases initiated by dozens of countries including the EU, the United States, and Australia, covering industries such as steel, aluminum profiles, photovoltaics, chemicals, ceramics, and food, helping export enterprises achieve numerous outstanding results in responding to these cases. She closely follows legislative developments in major economies and has demonstrated exceptional practical capabilities in handling investigations and supply chain compliance related to the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation, the EU Deforestation Regulation, and the U.S. Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, providing precise legal support to enterprises.


In addition, she has provided legal advice to China's Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and various industry associations on multiple occasions, and has been invited to deliver risk response lectures for governments and industry associations in Shandong, Zhejiang, and other regions. She also serves as an instructor for the foreign-related lawyer program at Jilin University School of Law, dedicated to cultivating practice-oriented foreign-related legal talents and promoting the integration of China's trade legal practice with international standards.
