On November 17, 2024, the well-known legal media China Business Law Journal officially announced the “The A-List Legal Elites: 2024 China Business The Visionaries” list. Dr. Jian GUAN has over 20 years of experience in WTO and international trade law, representing the Chinese government in multiple WTO dispute settlement cases and participating in legal reviews of the RCEP text. He has also represented Chinese trade associations in a series of international trade disputes, including the U.S. Section 301 investigations, Special 301 investigations, and WTO compliance reviews. Dr. Guan regularly represents Chinese enterprises in trade remedy investigations initiated by WTO members such as the U.S. and the EU, as well as compliance projects related to export controls and economic sanctions.
